Minnetonka Preschool – Ages 2 ½ to 5

Where Dreams Set Sail and Learning Begins

Wonder, Discover, Create and Dream

Discover a place where children are inspired to wonder, discover, create and dream. At Minnetonka Preschool children learn about the world around them through exploration and grow in a safe environment that focuses on social, emotional and cognitive development.

A Love of Learning

Part of the Minnetonka School District, Minnetonka Preschool is committed to world-class, child-centered excellence. Our program builds a child’s confidence and provides them with skills that prepare them for kindergarten. For example, children in 4- and 5-year-old preschool programs are exposed to Chinese and Spanish languages providing an opportunity to explore potential interests in kindergarten language immersion options. All curriculum emphasizes early literacy, helps children develop a love of learning and uses leading technology to ignite imaginations.

Teachers Make the Difference

Meet our teachers and you’ll see what we mean. They are nurturing, energetic professionals with a passion for helping children learn. All are licensed teachers in Early Childhood Education. Our teachers incorporate best practices from early childhood research into lessons, and their creative approach to class time makes every day a learning delight.

Parents are our Partners

Daily communication from teachers helps you, your child’s first and most important teacher, to keep up-to-date on learning activities. Our teachers welcome questions and conversations with parents. Their knowledge and experience will help you navigate every stage of your child’s development.

Options for Every Family

Minnetonka Preschool offers a variety of options to fit every child’s developmental needs. Choose from one to four day programs, with the option to combine select classes with one or two days of parent education. Classes are two to two and a half hours long and held at the Deephaven Education Center. Flexible scheduling and childcare is available with our Junior Explorers Club and Lunch Bunch options.
